DECKED UP ELEPHANTS, DANCING MACAW, DOGS DOING GYMNASTICS, BLAH BLAH BLAH at the circus didnt amuse my three year old...perhaps he couldnt reckon with the animals in our world....he loves them in wilderness...the way they move around in IceAge or Madagascar or Dumbo or KingKong....animals are best when left on their own....they arent meant to amuse us or our children i believe. Circus isnt fun without them, people say, but then we can just get our ACTS right to still attract audience

took my son to circus :) he wasnt all that excited until he saw elephants, dogs, parrots in the act..sonnie befriended a dwarf too and kept calling him out even as the latter performed :)

my first onscreen hero SUPERMAN (first offscreen has ALWAYS been my dad)...saw him last night and showed him to my son...left awed and nostalgic. how he would fly and come to the rescue of anyone and everyone...sonnie too loved him...he is now confused...which one is he: superman, spiderman or batman? :)

tintin missed school-- day one of his school. he just wasnt in a mood it seems to go to school. although he was up, he was cranky when i asked him to dress up...!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am @ work ..it is almost 11 pm. poor boy he wud be waitn for me. baba is baby-sitting him

mansi called this morning. after a brief chat, tintin tells me"I WANT TO GO TO AUSTRALIA TO MEET MANSI AUNTIE|S BABY!"


Last evening during the prime time debate on TV sonnie says: OH, they are back to fight on tv! :)

he has been peeing in his pants since last two days..he gets so engrossed while playing, he forgets to raise an alarm!!!!

every night before finally dozing off, tintin tells me" maa, ami tomar baby" :) and i gotta repeat that..it is kinda ritual :) and i love it when he says that

my nails scratch his neck by mistake...having recently heard the story of how ganesha happened, sonnie tells me: "U are SHIVA! and me ganesha?? Why chopping off my head!"

hubby asks sonnie to feel his muscles...he feels the elbow and says nice! ;) hubby asks now tell me who z strong. sonnie says MOMMA:)

Back from Goa, tintin applied talcum on my sunburn volunteers to put some on my head.... Thought that too needs to soothe:-P

our goa trip was so fulfilling...tintin would be out alll the time on the beach by the lagoon...the hot sun wouldnt bother him. although his day one experience of the sea caught him unawaress (that kept him off the sea), he was otherwise okay with the calm waters of the lagoon...infact, we both were tossed against the rocks the moment we landed at the beach,,the sea was very rough....
our road journey was nice but tintin would get motion sick .... a near 48 hour journey was tiring but ishanee and sajit took good care of him...tintin got a temp tattoo on his right forearm...a ganesha with the OM...he wouldnt have forgiven me had i not gotone for him after promising him one

as we watched animated ramayan recently, tintin asked me about the 10-headed guy. i said that is RAVAN. he said oh RA.ONE...sharukh!!!! i said, no no this is the original RAVAN

tintin has picked up songs ..."saat bhai champa" and "bada natkhat hai re" pretty well..he sings them well. pretty well...
these days we both narrate stories to each other...lion (handsome) and mouse (smartie), doremon - pisuki (the dragon), spiderman, ..tintin is quite a learner, he picks up the stories well and then narrates them fine
we would be off to goa on saturday....:))))))))))

Told Tintin that he was in my tummy...he said Oh I came out from your mouth? Broke ur teeth and came out? I said No I opened my mouth wide enough for you to come out comfortably :-)

told tintin that big planes means the likes of boeing and airbus ... after a while he said Oh, so they have lots of buses in them! he is super excited about our goa trip..have bought swimming trunks for him ....hurrah
last night i was trying out my costumes and he kept saying "ARE YOU GOING TO SLEEP IN THEM!"
he is asking me to get him a princess (barbie doll) i might soon...those who talk of good parenting say that it is ok if boys want to play with dolls...so let it be
