this santoor player comes there almost everyday for a hour and plays the lovely instrument ... the music is so enchanting esp when you listen to it early morning

the window by the poolside...

we went to udaipur on saturday night..tintin left with his new jeep.. stayed put in room number 19, (last time it was room number 2) and came home on Tuesday wee hours...testimony to a happy vacation....forgot to mention...enroute udaipur, tintin puked...poor thing...not once, but twice. yet he kept lying on me as i covered the mess with my dupatta....he is indeed a darling...then on the day we were to leave, he slipped in the bathroom and banged his head on the glass partition, cried a little :(
