tintin spent his saturday night at ishani-sajit's place. we went there for dinner. tintin was elated and loved to roam around in the lovely house. their house excites tintin..he gets to see elephants/birds/monkey/..et al...all that keeps him entertained. he finished off his dinner (one paratha) after ishanee offered him a mango :)) they gifted him a "tintin in tibet" t-shirt which is pretty cool.
on sunday, he came with all of us --me, ojas, mom, papa and baba -- for health checkup. he was excited there seeing so many people and was glad that we all were out together. in the evening, we went out to baba's place for some time and then went to ishani's house to collect his water bottle that i had forgotten on satuday. at night, after he peed on the bed, i spanked him for spoiling a new bedsheet...he came to me and hugged me tight...i explained to him why he shouldnt do so and apologised if i missed listening to him when he was giving me warning indications of the need to go to the loo..
this morning, after he woke up late, he was standing by the door of the bedroom and was trying to open it (thinkin i was outside)...i being in the bathroom, heard him calling out to me, i immediately got him inside, gave him a lovely shampoo bath and dressed him up...he loved playing with his toys inside the bathroom. he identified tap, bucket, water to me on satuday...btw, satuday morning, while taking bath, he messed up a washed wraparound of him for which i spanked him...poor thing felt so bad, he hugged me tight and cried till i comforted him and said i wnt scold him anymore.

forgot to mention that he went completely berserk once we were inside the toy shop "kampanwala"..tintin wanted almost all the cars that he could spot :)) i tried to get a smart motorcycle for him, but found none ... i check out trains, that dnt excite me either..then i found the bus for him :)))

tintin had fever ... above 101 on thursday so i stayed put by his side on firday just to ensure that he is fine...however, touchwood, i didnt have to revisit the doc as he looked perfect yesterday. he looks good today as well. gave him bath after four days. he was desperate to get inside water. he has learnt a few sentences...maa ota chai (maa, i want that), maa, kole (maa, lift me up), maa, bosho (maa, sit) and this morning, as i applied spray on myself, he walked up to me, asked me to open the cupboard and picked up a perfume that was handy. even as i tried to tell him that kids dnt handle all that stuff, he gave it to me, asked me to open it (maa, kholo) and then asked me to apply it!!!! after i was done, he put it back :))) he has a new ahya today...her name is radha...tintin seemed pretty ok with her. he went to her lap and cuddled with her. since i was home yesterday, i took him out, got him a double decker bus and a green coloured ball. this morning, baba got him a balloon shaped like a horse..tin was pretty excited to see it.. these days, he sleeps with one gems in his palm. last night he was so tired that he fell off in no time (holding the bus in his hand)...in the middle of the night if he is thirsty, he tells me very audibly ...maa, jol ....

tintin is running high fever since last two days. on monday, ojas (who had takena day off) called me around 5 to tell me that tin has more than 101 fever...he had already administered calpol liquid to him...yesterday i took a day off to be with him. by noon, tintin was burning at 102.7...despite this, he woke up around 4.30 pm and kissed me....although i coud feel that he was warm, it was not until i took his temp that i realised situation was pretty bad. i dressed up tintin and we rushed to the doc, poor thing was so jovial, kept running around the doc's chamber. and said "doctor doctor"..tintin sought a stuffed frog and peacock while the doc examined him. viral, doc said. now that he is on medication, he seems okay for a few hours but then fever happens once the medicins's effect subsides :( ...he spent the day happily clinging to me, had juice in a glass and we both sat with his drawing book .. he was glad that i was there :)) last night, i offered him gems, he slept with one in his hand!!!!! this morning, he woke up by 6 am...i realised he was running 101.7 fever!!! gave him milk and ibugesic plus. he was happy watching cartoons, holding keys....and then bumped him head on the kitchen platform as he ran to me in the kitchen... he let me rub ice on his forehead and the moment he felt better, he was at his feet again..jumping all over...i spunged him and put him to sleep before heading for work...while he got up briefly, i handed him one gems and he slept again...yesterday, i made him say ojas "mee--ta" :)

notice the pink lotion on his forehead? that is a prickly heat solution...tintin has rashes on his shoulder and forehead!! :( clicked him this morning as he checks out cars in a newspaper..while i tried to put him to sleep (he was up since 7.30 am), he held the paper close to his chest and slept!!!

tintin called me mana-maa yesterday and then smiled as i asked him to repeat it.
on saturday night, when ojas tried to hold him while sleeping, he insisted that ojas leaves him..he said "ojas chorrr"...while ojas obliged, i put my hand on him, tintin didnt mince a word...then ojas asked him to raise objection and tintin obedienlty said "maa chorrr" :)
i put him to sleep this morning while leaving for work... he took some time and lots of coaxing to sleep but finally dozed off nicely with his doggy and teddy bear by his side

i had to sneak of the house this morning as i left for work...offered tintin some sugar coated fennel seeds and quietly left home..he was kept engaged in the balcony by mom who showed her cars, tin's fav passtime :)

tintin came to see me at work..poor thing cried a lot while i made him sit in the car :(

i ask tintin everyday "ami toke chotke debo"? he understands that quite well because what follows is torturous for him..i squeeze him and shower him with kisses..he LOVESSSSSSSSSSSS it and responds with giggles. this morning, i clicked him while he clings to me...and he insisted that he would hold ojas' t-shirt and not let him wear that ..tintin eventually made a lungi out of it!!!
