he is such a sweetheart, realises promptly if i am upset or happy. he got a fishing set from his fav aunt-uncle this sunday :) aur mat pucho...next day, he woke up at 6 am to go fishing in the bathroom! :) love him. his summer holidays have begun, he wakes up early and then sits with me for some ABCD and 1234 and also for hindi alphabets :) love him

Why have you repeated dhokla.....the little one asks while referring to his school snack box.....phew....even as the snack was last made a week back....tough times mommie

he was to be picked up by me today after school but because of some bank work, i got late...tintin was the only kid waiting :( although the teacher was by his side, i dnt like the fact that i kept him waiting. he was happy to see me and kept asking me why i was not answering the phone when his teachers were trying to reach out!!! love him love him

today was a holiday @school. mom-son slept well, got up late :) did some study (well...for an hour and half!!), introduced 6 to him and did A-E, a-e and 1-6....quite a task for the boy :) nevertheless, he was cheerful and brought out all his toddler toys and gleefully played with them, he insisted that i shouldnt go to work!!! has asked me to not be late....so here i leave to  be with him :)

he was ready with his regular uniform on friday (when he is supposed to be in whites and camouflage!!!) just as he stepped outside, our neighbour asked him "hey why are u wearing this today?" and immediately, in a frenzy  tintin, me and baba changed his uniform and re-dressed him. it was fun, exciting ..the van was already there, waiting for him. realising the seriousness of the situation, tintin almost started undressing himself which was very very cute of him.
anyways, have come to work after feeding him half-lunch. the other half he finished. today i made him sit with his books for near 2 hours...phew...abcd and 12345. :) love him. he is a big boy now. waves goodbye to me happily as i leave for work while at the same time asking me to come home early.

tintin was a little scared last night....there was a storm and lot of lightening. thankfully, no thunder. but nevertheless, he hugged me tight and insisted that i close the balcony door...i tried to assure him that he is a brave kid and he neednt fear...even held him in my arms and took him to the balcony to show the lovely moon cresent

prepared tintin's project "best from waste" last evening....he was happy, rather ecstatic to see me. i made a photo frame and a pen stand for him. am satisfied. this morning, i made banana wadas for him. he was happy to taste one, wonder how many he has eaten though!!
i could hear him pleading to me "maa, likhbaar dorkaar nei"....as i understood he was having problems to write ABC.....never mind, he will learn, and baba told me eventually that "he quit" upon tintin's insistence that maa says itz okay :) he will learn, i know.

kalke bhodroloker convocation ceremony chilo :) we both went to his anvil playschool and received his files/school leaving certificate and all his papers :) i was emotional...

Day 4: mommie, it is too cloudy. looks like i will get drenched. can i skip school?

while working on number 4 last night, he said "o, shit" while making mistake attempting 4. as i asked him to not say so, he said "even you say that!!" i said it is a bad word and neither of us would ever repeat that. i hope it works

he INFORMS that there is an alpenliebe inside his right nostril as i reach home after work...i am like "oh yeah!!!" and then soon forget about it. this morning as i bathe him, he insists that alpenliebe is still there....complains of some pain too and asks me to help him. unsure, i ask him to blow his nose...he then sneezes in sometime ... to my horror, i ACTUALLY find a small but BIG ENF piece of toffee wrapper that has landed on my palm !!!! without scolding him, i ask him never ever to do that....gawwwdd!

day 3 of school: he tells me he dsnt want to go coz he dsnt want homework...awwweeeee....he sits for his homework...did 4 and A and C last nite...i need to spend more time with him. he loved the noodles i made for his school :) leaves me happy

Trying to make him study hard and then put him to sleep he asks me why are some lights open in the neighbourhood. I tell him they are studying. He says 'seems like their schools have given them lots of books'

 As i dry clothes in the sun, he asks me 'does sun drink water'

 last evening, as i tell him that baba was angry with me for not making tea for him (i went down to engage tintin with others but had to stay put coz no chottu guys were around)....so he asks me "baba neeje cha banate pare na?" cant he make tea on his own? so i tell him that since i am his daughter, it is okay if i make tea for him...

forgot to mention...while he was seated in his class on day 1 (i was busy with his teacher to sort out his books and stuff they had asked earlier), i hear an overjoyed tintin calling out "rishi" (he happens to be a child older than him who was our neighbour once and he apparently schooled with him @anvil)...but that boy, who has always been not-so-good with tintin, gave him cold-shoulder and almost snubbed him. that left me cold and anxious. by the time i left his class, i saw him seated on the last bench, not so amused, but lost. when i went to fetch him though, i heard another boy waving frantically to tintin.. i realised tintin too responded. i asked the kid if he is in Jr,KG. he said yes, in section C. yuhoo....same as tintin's section. thankfully, when u are snubbed by one, there is someone else who is there to cheer you up. thanks to the little man :)

my chotua got a beating BAD beating for emptying my facewash bottle...not one, but two of them. he filled one with water and walked up to me in the kitchen, smiling. and told me "maa, see i made so much facewash for you." i was amused but then when i asked him why he did that, baba said something that left me totally frustrated. in sheer anger, i thrashed tintin :( later, we went to ishi's place

i love him. period. said sorry for the bashing. he too apologised for being naughty

madras happened :) tintin and me return rejuvenated. tintin was super duper excited to take the near two-day train trip in a super cool AC first tier ...uber luxury compartment...he dnt realise at first that ppl sleep, eat and poop in the train ;) that was cute. he wouldnt sleep at all out of sheer excitement. befriended a gal named ashwarya at vijaywada on day 2 and played some games with her ...

chennai trip was good. we were at pishimoni's place for two days and then shifted base to didi's place. tintin LOVED being with shonubhaiya and later with babumama. tina didi dubbed him the
"little man" and he LOVED IT..just that he gets confused at the ease with which i make him small and big ... small when he attempts biggie stuff and big when he is acting cranky ;)

he would itch for visits to the phoenix mall at velachery...i think the shop clocked its highest ever sales with us being around in chennai ;) tintin got a flickering light car, a motorbike, a spidey on a bike, board games and a trailer from there. his shopping craving reached new highs i guess. but thatz ok because i told him we were holidaying. 

he would get the best food cooked by daxamma, didi's domestic help cum cook and would be floored by palani uncle, her driver who would welcome him everyday with "vanga vanga" (come, come).
 
two-day visit to pondicery too was great. both me and him would be in the pool for most part of the day as if we were born in water  ...
