the other day as i scolded him for something, he told me (with a hint of smile on his face) "bacche ko dara rahe ho!!!"
he is an absolute darling....has recovered a little from cough...went to school after three days today. was cheerful, last night he had the luxury of indulgence...had thai noodles from momoman and that was his breakfast as well :) i have no complains as long as he eats. he had poor appetite eversince he fell sick.

tintin has mild fever since yesterday. @ the doc's it was 99.1, this morning it was 99.5....unable to sleep tight at nights owing to cough, he complaints "maa, kashi hocche" and expects me to help him through the pain...i help him through steams and vicks rubs....i took him out briefly this morning to meet pippo. since there was a deal between us that he wnt touch her and just say hello to her, he behaved (i was surprised and happy and relieved)....love him. i put him to sleep before coming to work but baba tells me he got up no sooner than i left :( LOVE HIM.
these days when he gets scolded or even gets a mild beatingon his back/butt, he says crying:maa, amake kanna asche" and expects me to comfort him. adorable he is :) mooah

celebrated republic day with zeal ... although took tintin to participate in his school's sports day event...we were before time and i guess tintin started feeling cold (he was in shorts)....so came back to get his jeans and sweater but by then he had lost interest and chose to stay back to celebrate the event with his friends at home...saluted the flag as baba unruffled it :) and had idlis as snacks :) happy day it was

tintin is unwell...has bad cough. took him to the doc this morning, is on medications. he puked soon after his lunch...so sick he is :( hope he gets fine..btw, took him to hamely's just to pep him up and wish i could have captured his expressions when i let him stroll in the toy store and ask him to pick up any toy he seeks......he picked up a gagdet that resembles a mobile....a BIG mobile which is in fact a learning tool and he picked up an AIRBUS 380:) a miniature model :)love him love him love him , period.

pointing at his pants that no more fit him, i tell him: u have become big....he says, no no...my bu* has grown up!
the other day i saw him touching "himself" so i asked if he needs to take a leak. he said no...i said then why are you touching yourself? he said it is tickling :) cute. i dnt bother him much

he puked a little this morning. infact, he got up at 8 am complaining that he needs to throw up..guess it is because of chavanprash that he gulps rather than chewing it a bit!!! hope he is ok. tomorrow is parent teacher meeting and day after is his sports day :)

tintin is learning straight line, sleeping line and slanting line these days..quite an  effort honestly...phew................:P
prakash secondary school, a highly coveted school of the city, has given admission to tintin but i guess he will continue at st kabir....

pointing at the doordarshan tower opposite our home, he says: maa, that's the durga-darshan tower!!! :) RITE!

we went for veggie and mutton/chicken shopping on sat morning....after veggies, came paper dosas, me and sonnie enjoyed the paper dosas sitting by a roadside stall when he referred to the durga-darshan tower,....we both had sambar and chutni on our respective sweaters and woolens....never mind! we loved the dosas....:)

last nite, ishi and saji came over for dinner...tintin loves them so much that whenever he gets to see them, the day turns out good for him :)

 

has gone to school .. baba would pick him up in smtime :) love them both

having listened to stories umpteen number of times, my three-year-old has become an expert in cues....even before i begin the story he says...ONCE UPON A TIME...... ;) ;)

pointing at his MANHOOD while sitting on the commode, he tells me:maa, look it looks like an elephant trunk!!!" :)

tintin calls himself big brother of pippo, blackie's pup :) i let him play with him and then give him a good shower every night :)
it's okay i guess....let him have his childhood like any other child :) happy and blissful
 

three days of bliss with my child ends today..back to work .... am happy to spend soo much time with him. we played together, ate together and slept together. what more could i ask for :) oh yeah, we also tried our hands at flying kites and lighting magic lanterns in the sky :)

i showed him a maze and asked him to help the car get out of it....he simply drew a straight line over it to the exit. LIFE IS INDEED SIMPLE FOR A THREE-YEAR-OLD...no mazes at all! :)

He dsnt know the name HRITIK ROSHAN...what he knows is KRISH! so the other day when he spotted the actor somewhere, he said "ah,krish!!!"

i tell him this morning: you need to eat almonds because goddess saraswati asked me to give it to you so that you become intelligent...he says: oh, then i would be intelligent like ganesha??? and immediately trumpets like one :)

pointing at an idol of saraswati, i tell him (thakur tomake buddhi debe) "she will enlighten you"....so he asks me (thakur buddhi kothae rakhe!!!) "where does she store all that!!!!

Told him that skin needs some lotion to soothe in winter, he asked me what is winter......almost immediately said "ah so what gets inside my nose this time of the year is winter!!!!!"

Was telling him "noddy and rainbow" story ..... all animals go colourless at one point and noddy has to go get colour for them. Tintin says so they go to Hypercity and buy crayons!

 I tell Tintin R for Robin, he says oh Batman.s Robin!

btw, after the spidey mask, he wants the blue coloured pants that spidey wears!!!!

a neighbourhood boy pushed tintin off the slide and he rolled the entire stretch before falling on his face!!! poor thing has scratch marks on his upper lip and a little bruise on his back...grrrr...

last night he slept with his NEW spiderman mask ON!!! it was baba who came and took it off his face!!! and it was INDEED the first thing, he asked for in the morning after waking up!!!! :) cute....in fact, the spidey travelled with him to his school inside his bag :)

tintin's school reopened this morning. he was in good spirits, had slept well :)
he welcome the new year at baba's place with his friends. had dinner and enjoyed every bit of the celebration.

on sunday, he accompanied me to my school reunion at marriott...befriended my friends' kids, behaved well and even ate on his own, and well....almost finished his plate. wasted little. happy
