i couldnt have taken the kinetic this morning as it was drizzling..radha tells me whenever i leave without offering him a ride, he gets upset. so while leaving today in an autorickshaw, i made the auto guy take me-tintin and radha for a short drive ;) that made him happy

this morning tintin was playing in the bath as usual...since i was getting late, i told him pointblank that i am leaving for office. yet, he continued playing..i got dressed and asked radha to dress him up...i was almost about to leave when i strained my ears to listen to tintin (wanted to know if he was okay or crying)...the poor guy was unhappy and was sobbing when i went inside. i took him in my arms, applied mosquito repellent on his arms/legs and got him down with me...that made him happy ...he ran around the parking lot when he spotted swara (our neighbour's 3 year old gal) :) i was happy that he was happy

we all had been out for dinner last night with ankita. tintin amused himself with a piece of lime..after he was done sucking it, he put it in a glass of water, made lime water out of whatever was left of the lime!!! :) he had fun having papads and some soup that i offered him

we went to ishi aunty-saji uncle's place last night. tintin loved to hop around, showing off his hopping skills to them. he played ball throw with sajit, ishanee gifted him a lovely light ball!!! it bounces and emits light. fortunately he is completely off feeds since a week now. TOUCHWOOD. i love him. he has grown up.

tintin is so observant i realised on monday...i got walnuts for him. offered one to him after cracking it...so that he dsnt chew the shell, i told him that we need to throw that in the dustbin..i realised he walked up to the small dustbin (placed in the corner of the room),opened the lid with his hand and disposed off the kachra there!!! amazing he is.

tintin accompanied me to baba;s place last night...it was he who insisted that i take him with me to baba and zombie dada..he was too happy to be there, tease zom and play with baba. he played horsie-horsie with baba!!!! i got two heart-shaped balloons for him and thereafter he kept telling baa-dada that an uncle gave him the balloons..

tintin can speak a few sentences with ease...maa chaan korbo (maa, i want bath), maa, ac koro (put on the ac),..

tintin uses baa-dada for dada (as in bridegroom for the groom!!!!!) and baa for baa :)

he poured water on me as asked during bath yesterday :) he could co-ordinate his hands well and had fun putting water on my head (i actually wanted him to put water on my face and i was caught offguard when he wet my hair and that made him ecstatic)

forgot to mention that baba offered him scooter ride on friday morning :) tintin now says baba-scooter chalache (baba drives a scooter)

THIS WAS MY FIRST MAIL TO MY FRIENDS AFTER TINTIN WAS BORN..THE MAIL DATES TO 26.7.2009

Continuing with OUR updates, WE join u again :P
This time round, me and my son are writing to u...want to pen down,
rather key down everything the two of us went through since 8th
july..this will be a memoir for us.
Ok..so here it goes..
The doc had told me that I must report bleeding, leaking of amniotic
fluid or contarctions asap. So on 8th night, in fact, well past
mid-night when it began drizzing in ahmedabad for the first time (it
was damn hot all these days, temp touching well above 41 degrees), I
felt a trickle down below...only to realise that I had bled. Not
wanting to panic my papa, I went to the balcony to Enjoy the rain and
to go back to the bathroom to check that I was indeed leaking! I told
papa that I need to visit the doc, made a call to the clinic and was
asked to get admitted asap. Papa got one uncle to drive us to the
nursing home and we picke up ojas. It was almost 1 am by then. I
asked a friend of mine ishanee to come over. Papa left after being
told that the process would take time and no point in waiting
there..so after the first checkup (which the onduty nurse did), I
expected the doc to come down. But then, was told that the doc
wouldn’t come before 5 am (the doc of course KNEW that it would take
hours before contractions would begin while I was expecting the kiddo
to pop out any moment despite having read loads of literature on three
stages of labour). The nurse monitored my kid’s movements and
administered enima..yeeks that was actually disgusting but had no
option (in fact, I was prepared for it, having read about it in
books).
Thereafter, started our LONG wait....the whole night passed
peacefully..well almost. I wasn’t getting any pain until then and
could feel the baccchu moving. The doc arrvied at 5 am, checked
me....she inserted almost her entire hand into me!!!!! And monitored
the foetal movement. Anyways, she left, only to turn up around 10 am
and then she punctured my placenta!!! And came out the amniotic fluid
like hoooooshhhhh...anyways, that was that. Thereafter, they
administered some contraction-inducing drug. The whole day seemed to
pass at a snail’s pace and I kept waiting for the moment. Was
wondering “despite sooooo much contraction and pain, why isnt the
doctor going for it :P ) but then, I dnt know what was to follow would
be worse. By evening, the pain worsened, I vomitted the yummy AMUL
strawberry milk all over myself and had my hair smeared with it!!!! By
9.30 pm when the doc arrived, I told her point blank that I cant take
the pain any longer. In fact, at one point, even as the doc said that
I have progressed very very well and have managed the pain well, the
moment she said that it would take about an hour or two for the THING
to get over, I gave up...I simply told her I WONT TAKE IT ANY
MORE....PLS PUT ME OFF TO SLEEP!!! Anyways, the doc administered two
sleep-inducing injections (at least that is wht she told me...and I
had no reason to believe that she would lie...i was in her hands
totally)...btw, all along, ojas stood by me. And so was my elder
sis-in-law. They all asked me was to inhale deeply and blow it out so
that the PUSH happens...anyways, when the doc realised that I was
getting exhausted, she felt dejected..she knew that I wanted a normal
delivery (OBLIVIOUS TO THE PAINS OF IT ;) ) so...ojas had a word with
the doc. She said she has three options...either to wait and proceed
with the normal delivery, secondly, administer epidural (I forgot that
a doc has to be specifically asked to administer it) and thirdly, a
c-secton. Having decided that I wouldn’t be able to stand the
contractions, I was ready for an epidural. THANKFULLY (this is what I
realised eventually), no doctor was avialable to administer epidural
at that point of time...so by the time I was taken to the OT, the doc
realised that the mouth had already opened and she rushed back to tell
ojas that she would perform a normal delivery...that was 10 pm....once
in OT, I had almost given up...i felt I would simply pass off due to
sheer pain. Anyways, my legs were tied to two poles to ensure a smooth
passage for the baby and then began the one hour process of PUSH PUSH
& PUSH...ojas was by my side and encouraging me to do the same...he
and the doc were so gooood...asked me not to give up (at one point,
the doc said...hey girl, dnt scream else your baby would go
inside!!!!! And that triggered yet another PUSH from me ;) ) haha....i
dnt want the process to start all over again...now that I write it, I
smile but then I realise that it was kind of toooo much. Gosh, I
wonder how can women take sooo much pain! At 10.58 pm, I realised that
OUR SON arrived with a final push  ...that was a relieving moment.
Putting him on my chest, she congratulated me. Overwhelmed, I touched
his head and then told ojas, beta hua hai  that was again an
emotional moment......hmmmmmmmmm.......

so that was that

actually treasure it.
Back at papa’s place, we both are getting to know each other. He is
cute. Ojas says, when hungry, he pouts his lips like narsimha rao!!!!

updating u guys about us was something that I enjoyed. It was as if I

i found a new friend in tintin. on saturday, i was quite upset and was sobbing while trying to put tintin to sleep...somehow tintin realised that i was too quiet and in no time he knew that i was crying. the moment he reached out to me, i couldnt stop myself and howled...he too sobbed with me...then i told him i wont cry....i even took him out to distract him but he knew i wasnt in all that great mood, he also indicated to ojas that something is wrong with me...he said .. papa...maa..papa...maa....ojas couldnt pick up the cue. after sometime i took him inside and told tintin that he was my best friend...dnno why, but he touched my face and kept saying "baas" "baas" (which is what i do to him to comfort him when he cries!!!!) i was so touched, realised that he understands me. i have been telling him since that night that tintin is ma's best friend and he understands...i asked him this morning...who is ma's best friend and he said Tintin :)
we spent sunday at baba's place. he was very very cheerful throughout the day, played with baba and zombie. baba had made two paper helicopters for him and flew them for him. tintin was lucky to spot a peacock dancing in the evening.
like an adult, he makes his choices very evident...this morning as i was about to dress him after bath, he insisted that i make him wear nice clothes :) and "pant" (jeans)!!! so he was dressed in a red-blue check shirt and a jeans full pant :) as he came to drop me...he wasnt too happy as i left, he kept telling radha that he want to go to maa :(

I and tintin christened his stuffed dog last night....henceforth, he will be KUKUBHAIYA for us :) tintin gave him a ride this morning on his bicycle
btw, i spanked him last night :( (softly thought) for not coming out of the bathroom where i had taken him for a wash...he had chocolate all over him after ojas gave him a 5*

forgot to mention...he helped me de-seed the pomegranate yesterday morning and this morning :)
also, when i told radha in Hindi that "dal me namak chahiye", tintin promptly repeated that in hindi!
he realised he can co-ordinate his hand movement and put water on his head with a tumbler :)

last night we saw Zindegi na milegi dubara at Himalaya Mall, drive-in road. poor tintin peeped in his pants as ojas couldnt get him to pee properly (i assume). fortunately, i had a fresh pair of dress for my sonnie. tintin was happy to savour an icecream (topped with GEMS)...all by himself. he messed himself up as it melted but i dnt mind (nor did he) because i had a shirt to spare for him :)

last night, i felt tintin was grown up....he held himself while peeing!!! secondly, he said sorry to me after he banged his aeroplane on my head by mistake, third, he sang : five monkeys jumping on the bed!!!! he had a one-fourth bar of chocolate all by himself last night...he actually dug into my bag and found it there...ojas had given it to me. he finished it off in no time...oh yeah, he has also learnt to say BHALO (very good)..so after he had pomegranate, he said bhalo, and yet again as he relished the bournville

that is a bump on his head after he banged his forehead on the tap this morning while taking bath!!

he was not very pleased with ojas for leaving him with me and going off to mumbai on saturday night. having a train with him was comforting though :) he spent a lovely sunday with me at baba's place. this morning, tintin got to see a peacock dancing....it was sheer coincidence that i asked tintin to call out to the bird and request it to dance again and the bird obliged not just once, but twice. last evening tintin accompanied me to the terrace to witness lightening...he wasnt too amused to see an angry sky though. yeah, he spotted an airplane amidst the clouds and thunder :)

tintin fell off my shoulder last night as he was playing horsie horsie :( i was actually trying to collect all his puzzles when he hopped on to me...even before i could hold him, he fell on his face and cried :( nyways, he loved his puzzles and insists i make them for him :P....then he identifies them..tiger, zebra, panda and kangaroo with her kid :)
he was very very very restless last night..i think he was hungry...kept asking for feed but when i asked if if i should offer him milk, he refused...wanted me to lie by his side...uncomfortable night it was...this morning, he picked up something from my bag and eventually, told me : maa..rekhedao (maa, keep it back in your bag!!!) he is growing up fast

this is what you do you your mom's bindi packet :) he put it on himself!!! infact the one which is almost in the centre, was put first..i was amazed at his accuracy :) though didnt express it :)
tintin enjoyed seeing monkies A LOT OF THEM on the terrace of the bungalow opposite our house...he made me sit him on his swing and see them rather relaxed :)

tintin touched my feet this morning and then touched his head (as if seeking my blessings)!!!! he was actually playing when he almost fell on my feet and did that
btw, the brands that tintin knows....BOURNVITA (gornvita), DETTOL, DOVE (!!!)....
