tintin got up and started his "paathshala" immediately (pointing at the objects in his book of colours), says ojas, who is enjoying his weely off today. they both slept together and got up just now. i can hear tintin talking in the background. tintin got a bath for the first time from ojas, i peeped to check and he was really behaving himself as ojas oiled him...he couldnt keep away from water so he splashed water with the tumbler while he was being oiled and giggled as ojas poured water on him
last night, as india was playing hard to win the semi finals against pakistan, tintin sat on my lap and enjoyed every moment of the match. he could feel that something very imp and interesting was happening and he was clapping when asked. he enjoyed fire crakers for a while and even saw some of them going up in the sky and glittering but would get scared when they would burnt just near our house.

tintin was moving with his mickey mouse bag when i reached home last night, he didnt remove it for well over an hour. he made me draw loads of pictures on his sketch book and it was only after he was completely exhausted that he slept off

i have drawn a sun, moon, bicycle, car, fish, doll, tintin, box and a bird on tintin's notebook. he moves around with that and identifies everything well. he has started calling himself "tee-teeen" and called me "mana"yesterday. also, while playing with my wallet yesterday morning, he hit upon a picture of baba ...since he could identify him, he grabbed hold of it and wouldnt let it go. he kept saying baba, baba and moved around the room.

tintin spent a great day at baba's place. he had muri-ghonto, grapes, popcorn, and peetha throughout the day. he spent an hour alone with ishanee-sajit..while i did get panic calls from them eventually, he was very very thrilled when i reached their place. it was then that he started roaming around the house and enjoying himself. he pointed out to me that his diaper had come off...so while i took him to the toilet and made him pee, i didnot put a new diaper on him. although he was giving me enough indications that ALLZ not well, i dnt realise he actually wanted to pee...he finally peed on the floor. while ishanee did run after him to make him wear his chaddi, all in vain. finally i made him wear his pants. by 1130 pm he was soo exhausted and sleepy that ishanee got a pillow and blanket..but by then ojas had already arrived and we called it a day...seen here in tintin at reliance fresh with sajit ...and check his pensive expressions while being left with ish-saj

last night tintin sat with me on the swing to have milk. suddenly, i see him feeling the mosaic image of krishna on a tile on the swing....he touched the god;s nose and told me NOSIE :) i was so amused.
this morning, as we all sat discussing who will win the world cup, tintin said INDIA!! (he had heard us saying INDIA-INDIA)
he wasnt letting me do the bed...and was very upset when i started doing it, he was crying mindlessly and didnt realise when he actually fell off the bed!!! cried but soon quietened the moment i took him in my arms and offered him a mini firki :)

i shared a orange-flavoured chocolate with tintin last night. he didnt seem to have enjoyed his bit, so he offered his to me..by then, it was already 50% melted..but i took it generously..tintin smeared it all over my face and i loved licking his fingers. just in time i asked ojas to click us together..it was so funny..tintin was amused and wondering how crazy his mommie is :)
he was playing cricket in the house with ojas when i reached home after work last night. as india took on australia in the quater final of world cup, tintin learnt to say INDIA, INDIA ... while celebrations went on with every fours by india, he too clapped (although at times he would get startled and would hide for cover), he understood that he should say boom-patash and enjoy the moment

tintin laid his hands on my eye wear and wore them last night. he was so amused by them, he nearly missed the fact that i was clicking him ;) this morning, he insisted i keep wearing them even inside the house!!!

mom told me this morning that tintin was so hurt yesterday seeing her cry (over some television soap), that he rolled over the floor and cried :( i told her he did the same thing when he saw me cry at kolkata at reshmi didi's place.
he slept quite late at 1230 hours and though i thought he would sleep till late, he woke up by 10 am and as usual, clung to me :) i have made soya chunks for him today. hopes he likes it

tintin communicates pretty well when he wants to go for potty. but he fails to do so most of the times as far as his pee is concerned. nonetheless, it is fun to sit by his side as he poops. he talks, babbles and smiles...identifies his hands, legs, stomach, tongue, eyes, ears and head. this morning, he was so fascinated by a mahindra advertisement in TOI that he moved with the paper all through out the morning. i told him that there was a truck, bus, metador, scooter and mopeds in the ad and he kept repeating that

Tintin had a great day ... I took an off owing to bad stomach. He played with me, slept well post lunch, watched his rhyme video, danced, went out for cycling before finally calling it a day at 1100 pm. He is sleeping by my side now. He has learnt to hug me well and then cosy up to me and shower me with kisses.

tintin played holi yesterday with everyone in the family and at palak..all uncles and aunts coloured him. i too coloured him green. we played holi till about 1.30 pm..went to baba's place where we coloured him. tin had some sweets there, he was so tired by the time we returned that after a good shampoo bath, he could hardly keep his eyes open. while he slept off while eating his lunch, he got disturbed in between and eventually slept around 2.30 pm only to get up by 6 pm. i slept by his side.
i offered tintin a piece of cadbury in the morning...he wanted some more, so i broke a little more and offered...he was soo upset with me that he cried like crazy until i offered to give him a bath. he can say "chaan" (bath) properly...he smiled as i gave him an oil massage and played in water. but as i took him in my arms to dry him, he cried like crazy yet again...i had a diff time to make him quiet. i realised that he was sleepy and put him to sleep...he slept at 11 am only to wake up by 2 pm

tintin went with us to kolkata from 10th-17th to visit pishemoshai who has been ailing since sometime now post a hip surgery. before our departure on 10th, i took him to meet baba, who offered dahi to him. it is believed that curd is auspicious. tin left for the journey from the ahmedabad airport...his first flight ever :) he didnt realise that there were crafts all over esp because we were quite late and almost rushed to get aboard. anyways, he did realise when the flight took over and was quietly watching. touchwood, he ddnt have any problem during the journey, although he did cry attimes, i made him feed and he would get quiet...i believe that whenever there was air pressure, he would have some problems,else he was purrfect. he slept for about an hour and woke up as we reached kal. it was there that he saw planes taking off..and was happily showing them to ojas.
we checked in a guest house by evening...we all went to sukanya's place at girish park (near our guest house), tin had bhaat-egg-aaloo for dinner. he slept well.
next morning, although we all set out for pishemoshai's place, we ended up spending the whole day with sukanya's family, attending her bro-in-law's wedding...tin wore new clothes and looked good. he could see the bride while she was being carried in a wooden platform (pidhi) around the groom. although he had slept at the venue, he got up in time for dinner...he had mutton-rice-rosogolla and one chocolate peda..
next day we went to kalighat to meet dora's mom and dora. that was tintin's first ride in metro train....more than him, i was excited about his journey. tin got a lovely shirt-pant set from dora. there he saw crows, cats, sparrows and was quite excited about all that. in the evening, we went to pishemoshai's place. apudi, who was by tintin's side when he was born, lapped him up and was so excited to see the bigger boy...but before that, he got a cricket set from me, and one new t-shirt :))) then by the time we left their place, tin had slept off. all throughout our visit to sukanya's place later that evening, he was asleep as sukanya's mother (whom he fondly called BA), stayed by his side. it was only after we reached the guest house, that he got up and had milk.
we went to china town in tangra with mou-didi and her children the next day, tin had a lovely time with the children --shruti and mehul...
next day, we went to rinku-didis place. just as we were to leave, i realised that tintin had razor in his hand, before i took it from him, he had managed to cut his cheeks. although he felt no pain, i was a little anxious. i applied savlon to the wound. at rinku-didi's house, i applied boroline to him .tin played around with titai and buro dada that day. he slept for good 2.30 hours before leaving home. we went to kashipur that night. tintin loved the place. he stayed up till 12 midnight ..
next morning, we went to dakhineshwar temple. we offered puka in his name. tintin did namo-namo before the goddess. he saw monkeys, ducks and snakes there. he was amazed to see ganga river and a boat floating on it.
tin had maggi after we returned home. after a good three hour nap, we went to reshmi didi's place for dinner. he spent some quality time with protim dada who happily showed him around (as i made him finish his dinner), reshmi didi was kind enough to offer him warm melted icecream which tintin obviously relished.
the other day, we went to rinku-didi's palace where he "shared" his meal with crows!!! thanks to them, tintin was so engrossed and amused by them, he finished almost 90% of his meal :))))
tin got soo many gifts from one and all...pishemoshai gave him gold buttons, dora and babudada, sukanya gave him shirt-pants, moudidi gave him crayons and tiffin box, reshmididi gave him a photoframe....
on his way back to ahmedabad, tintin actually saw about three flights taking off. he was screaming with excitement all along. he kept saying "pane" "pane" pointing at the sky...and then he saw birdies (crows) and baas (bus)...before he boarded the flight. while he did witness the take off, he took a nice 2.30 hour nap throughout the journey and got up after we boarded the bus on the runway!!! overall, he seemed happy with the trip.
with his new found love for aircrafts, he could spot a jet the moment the got off the auto near our home yesterday. he showed the "pane" to other kids.
it was during this trip that he got a spank from me one day...i had readied him for sleep and yet he followed me to the bathroom and played with water. he had drenched himself , his clothes..i got upset coz he already had running nose and i could anticipate cold...anyways, when i hit him and rebuked him, he was amazed...then he smiled..i felt bad for having done so..he didnt understand that i was scolding him or hit him to reprimand...i feel bad to have hit him :(
