tintin accompanied us to mohon-apurba's daughter (sristhi's) party..the child was being introduced to the family through a get-together at pride hotel on saturday. i had given tintin shamboo bath and he looked damn good in his yellow t-shirt and jeans..he also wore his tiny red cap :) he behaved himself at the hotel, had rice-dal, pudding, pastry, gulab jamun and peda. relished everything
on sunday, he accompanied me to baba's place, had loads of fun with baba and zombie, enjoyed chicken biryani, slept for only one-and-half hours during the day and put himself to sleep by 1.30 am!!!!
this morning as i bathed him from head to toe, he was very excited. after the bath as i moved my fingers in his hair to dry them, he felt very very sleepy and almost slept. :) late, i gave him some grapes that he enjoyed. earlier, he had spotted a pineapple flavored toffee which he dnt quite enjoy..so while he took a few pieces initially (i was breaking it and offering him since it was a big toffee), later, he dnt even ask for it...and headed straight for chaa (chaan---bath)..he knows what is feee (fish), baloo (baloon), chokate (chocolate) and zoo (zombiedada).

tintin went out with me and ojas last night on a real long drive across shilaj-thaltej and drive-in road...he finally slept off at 1.30 am only to wake up at 11 am this morning. he got a quick bath before i left for work
earlier yesterday, ojas tells me, tintin slept well for about 4 hours as ojas slept with him :)

tintin spoke to me over the phone just now..ojas is on leave today. when i said bye, tintin waved bye :) ojas told me that he is waving to the phone!!!! i disconnected eventually as tintin had the phone with him and was not letting ojas disconenct

tintin was sitting on my lap in the morning in the balcony to have his breakfast--cornflakes--when he dropped his plastic fork on a passerby....i asked that gentleman to give the fork to the archies guy, later tulsiben collected it

tintin accompanied me to buy milk this morning..saw a cow and lots of pups during his short stroll. he loved it as i let him be .. just that i held his hand on the road. he was amused to see pigeons and so many children who were heading for the playgroup near our house. he cried as i left for work with ojas. btw, he is very fond of the new lady who takes care of him. he is happy to be with her 3 year old son chirag and loves playing with him.

tintin tried to sit in the pigmy chair that vaishali (baba's neighbour) has given him!!! he looked very cute and innocent as he tried to place it on the floor and make himself comfortable in the tiny chair.in fact, once he even managed to sit on it for a while but then got up as i laughed a lot.
he also went down to play with the building boys in the evening. he got a warm welcome from them, they gave him their ball to play with and were too careful not to hurt him as they played...
he has a new ahya today as daminiben has gone on chutti. hope he likes and adapts to her .

tintin accompanied me-ojas-ishanee-sajit to dinner at chinatown last night. he looked very neat considering he had a nice hairdo that daminiben gave him. he behaved until the food arrived. while he slurped the chicken clear soup quietly that i offered, he jumped all over when the main course arrived. he wanted to eat from my plate, so i got a steel plate for him. he had some noodles and rice with a fork that he grabbed from my plate. then as i tried to put him down so that he dsnt mess up the table, he lay on the floor completely like he does at home....then the owner came to him and gave him a lollypop that made him stop crying immediately. ojas removed the wrapper and in no time, tintin was covered with the sweet syrup of the lollypop simply because he couldnt gulp it :) he called ishanee "ateee" (auntee) and sajit "akle" (uncle)

tintin messed up my dinner plate completely. although he has got into the habit of doing that these days -- he wants to touch and mouth everything that is on my plate -- i gave him fruyms on a separate plate to keep him engaged. he however, shifted his entire focus on my plate and then messed up the subzi..he would scoop a handful of cabbage-bhaaji and then put it in his plate...he transferred the entire contents from my plate to his in no time!!! then he started to toss and turn the plates shifting contents from one to the other. i eventually ended up eating whatever was left on the sofa!!!!! :) it is a pleasure to be with him.

tintin attended the first official birthday party of rishi, a boy 6 months elder to him, yesterday. when i reached home last night, i found him sitting cute on a chair..he looked damn cute..yellow t-shirt, blue jumpers and a colorful birthday cap ... i couldnt stop laughing...i was actually totally amused looking at him. he looked damn cute. he then accompanied me to buy a gift for him and then gift it to him...tintin sat on my lap and enjoyed the cake that was meant for me ;)

tintin was very restless on saturday night...he got up by 7 am on sunday and to my horror, he had some strange red rashes all over his face and body ....he behaved ok, wasnt feeling itchy or anything...i put him back to sleep till 10 am. frantic calls to the doc didnt help as the phone was switched off. doc said tintin has been bitten by something and hence, the reaction. he has given anti-allergic syrups to be administered for five days. tintin looked okay by 6 pm. he slept with me from 2-6 and looked very good by evening. this morning. all his patches had disappeared. touchwood.

tintin wore by reebok and moved around the house this morning as i was abt to leave for work,,,in mamma;s boots, i actually clicked him :)

i put tintin to sleep by 10 pm last night so that he gets a good sleep and wakes up fresh. i made him wear a cotton t and shorts and wrapped up all his woolens because temp has risen substantially. tintin however, got up in the morning around 6.30 am crying. he was very uncomfortable, i could sense that he had blocked nose. so i tried to calm him down by offering him medicine in milk...he was soo sleepy that he was irritable ... but eventually, he dozed off in my arms by 7.15 am..and then got up fresh by 9.30 am when the milkman rung the bell. he is better but is coughing bad. have administered medicines to him

tintin slept off after a hour and half of being administered the medicine last night..while he was ok, around 2.30 am i realised that he was sweating profusely and his t-shirt was wet owing to sweat..i had to change it to ensure he doesnt catch cold...however, he was so sleepy, that he got disturbed and irritated as i tried to change...in fact, he rolled up to the wall and had his face towards the wall with his head hanging between the wall and the bed!!! however, i just grabbed him, powdered him and changed..that upset the routine. last night was tough on me as i had to feed him a lot.....but he was jolly well in the morning, happy to do potty and get a bath afterwards.

i gave tintin the sedative last night so that he keeps off feed during the night. it helped to an extent i would say, while he was uneasy initially, looking sedated and dropping his head on the bed and yawning .. wondering why am i so sleepy suddenly --- he eventually slept throughout the night. but got up around 6-6.30 and fed...then slept till 8.30 and woke up with a nice smile. he accompanied everyone to ankita's ring ceremony..he wore a lovely yellow with red stripes cotton half-sleeve shirt given by ishanee and sajit. it looked damn cool. he shook a leg during the function as the music went loud but then was sad as i had to leave for office, leaving him with mom-dad-daminiben

tintin finished one year seven months today....he got to listen to and watch the lovely dvd of rhymes that i got the other day for him. he was happy last night because he saw me-ojas-ba-dada together. ojas had taken a day off because of hathe khori. after many days i gave him a shampoo bath, he was uncomfortable but eventually, liked it when i made him wear a sleeveless t-shirt and a lovely red pair of shorts. he felt great to be in less clothes rather to be in those full length pyjamas that made him sweat. he can comfortably count 1 to 10 as i prompt him. he cant say 1 though...that is my job...i have to prompt him with 1 and then he continues. likewise, he dsnt know A, he knows B and C :)these days whenever a dog barks, he tells me bhow-bhow with big eyes and even asks me to take him to the balcony to show him those dogs. he sleeps without a feed comfortably but in the midst of night, he is unstoppable. gotta get him the syrup today for sure. tried to get it yesterday but the chemist had an old one so hope today it will be available

tintin got up, rather was forced to get up, at 8.30 am for his hathe khori. he got dressed in a lovely orange full sleeve t-shirt and jeans and headed for the venue with me-ojas-baba. it was nice at bharat sevashram sangh near the sabarmati banks, behind times office. he sat on the maharaj's lap and held the chalk. the purohit guided him to write OM, bangla a, ka, kha and then graduated to ABC. he made tintin scribble on the board..tintin was amused. was being very nice throughtout the proceedings. he offered pushpanjali to goddess saraswati and then offered her flowers. i am happy for him

tintin has been sleeping without feeds since last two days ... this is his fourth day to be precise. he is coping well it looks, he does make a fuss of it. yesterday, he got down from my lap and went to he bed and lay there and eventually i patted him to sleep. good for him. however, he gets up at night and seeks me. i am not able to handle that as yet, although i offer him water, he still wants me...i think i will have to give that medicine to him...lemme check for somedays ..... he was handling my shoes yesterday. i asked him to keep them down, he did and when i clapped, he too clapped. then he repeated the act some 10 times just to get an applause :)
he went with me to a park yesterday, played football for a while. then chased a toddler saying bhaiya bhaiya :)then he also met a young girl .. 5 years old... who played with him. she took tintin all over the garden.

the other day while i was about to wear my shoes to work, i found a keychain inside the shoe!! i realised that tintin wore it and must have put it in!
last night for the first time in my presence, tintin slept without a feed. it was frustrating for me since i was handling him..he was crying wondering why he isnt getting his feed but then i had to begin someday ...i tried to reason with him, removing his hand from me and finally, took him to the balcony...he stared at the stars, checked out cars, motorcycles on the road..it was 12 i think by when he finally slept. he got up early at 7 am...was very cheerful, i think in the middle of the night when he cried, i did feed him. guess i will have to administed the medicine the doc prescribed to help him sleep through the night and not asking for milk...

doc said tintin looks fine. it seems he has regained weight...was 11 last time, this time he was 11.40 kg. touchwood. he cried as the doc put the stethoscope on him, anyways, doc has asked me to administer the antibiotic for three more days so that the infection dsnt resurface.
trying to wean tintin off, i applied lot of somva 34 on me last night. although he refused me initially and even cried softly, he suckled eventually!!!! and slept. doc said i will have prob one week as i initiate the process...i feel bad, but will have to do it anyways. i also whispered to tintin that he is a big boy and dsnt need me anymore but then it didnt help

tintin has become so naughty, he refuses to sleep without a feed. that at times gets tiring...i am trying to get him off me and hence, tried to give him somva 34 the other day, he is such a brat, he tasted it, made a face, then continued to suck!!!!
yesterday, while i was trying to put him to sleep, ojas walked in from work. then ojas tried to put him to sleep my singing a lullaby.i kept sitting on the sofa, pretending to be asleep since tintin was checking me out everytime ojas would walk near me with him in his arms..but in between as i walked out of the room in the dark to get the bed ready for tintin, he got up and said MA MA....then i took over and tried to put him to sleep..asked ojas to change...after trying to sleep for some 2 min, tintin again got up. this time, he was looking for ojas!!! i gave up and then took him to the bedroom and put him to sleep by 1 am
